Rushing Crash

Simplay mom was simply stupid today rushing around I backed up into a fence and really messed up the back of the family car light cover cracked and on the floor, bumper cracked thank god the kids were not in the car.  How fast was I backing up I still cant recall but I'm so mad I want to scream and then to hear my husband about how I'm not careful and don't pay attention and a hundred other comments/questions that in hind sight make a lot of sense.  The truth is I was rushing yes I was careless and rushing what else is new with kids we are always rushing.  We rush to and from school/daycare, we rush to and from actives cheer, swim, dance, gymnastics, baseball etc.. then we rush to and from birthday parties and families events.  My head is spinning right now rush rush rush and in between we have to eat, sleep, bathe and love.  Do we miss out on some of the love and snuggles because we are always in a rush?  I think we do, I see so many of us parents running our kids to all type of actives and classes is it really needed can one just be enough?  What happened to just playing outside are we all brain washed to fund the big business of kids zones.  Ponder this with me.
